My Story…

Born and raised in Colchester, Essex, I grew up with a guiding mantra from mum: live every moment as if it were your last, yet plan to live forever. (Sometimes to my teenage detriment, I’d live a little too freely!) This beautiful paradox—the interplay between life’s fleeting instants and the desire to immortalise them through poetic meaning—became the heartbeat of my creative journey.

Films were my sanctuary, a realm where fleeting moments are captured and transformed into timeless narratives. Immersed in worlds where characters are explored through universal themes, I learned to view each frame in as both a precious work of art and a snapshot of our shared human experience.

From my early days as a film student to my growth into a filmmaker, I discovered that every project is more than a collection of images—it’s an exploration of personality, emotion, and the quirky details that make each story (or person) unique. I often joke that my camera might just be my best mate—it’s taught me more about my own life than I ever could, and if I’m going to be a little pretentious, I’ll admit that it has, in its own revealing way, reflected my life back at me.

In wedding films, this discovery finds its most exquisite expression; your love story is interwoven with the very essence of who you are. Your wedding isn’t just a day—it’s your grand love story, a series of moments that shimmer with both ephemerality and a touch of the unexpected. It is my privilege to capture these moments, transforming them into a legacy that will be cherished forever—and perhaps bring a smile every time you watch it.

I honestly believe that the true power of a wedding film lies in preserving a moment for future generations—a moment when you become deeply rooted in someone else’s history. How do you imagine your love echoing through the lives of those who come after you?
